Limbal Relaxing Incision
Corrects low to moderate astigmatism.

LRI consist of incisions made at the opposite edges of the cornea producing a flattening in that area.  The resulting change reshapes the cornea to remove the blur caused by the astigmatism.  LRI can be performed by itself or in combination with an intraocular procedure such as RLE (Refractive Lens Exchange) or Cataract Surgery.
